We have just heard the sad news of the passing of our ward councillor Bob Matthews. Bob’s passing has come as a sudden shock to us, and on behalf of Breinton Parish Council I would like to pass our condolences to his family.
Bob always attended our parish council meetings whenever he could, including the last one, and could be relied upon to fight for local issues at Herefordshire Council where he was a councillor for the True Independents.
Bob has given the parish council good guidance on issues that have affected us and has fought our case with passion many times. He will be sadly missed.
