The annual Bonfire and Firework Party will take place on Friday 2nd November, starting at 6.30pm, at the Community Farm on Warham Lane.
Supported by St Michael’s Church PCC and Breinton Parish Council, entry is free and refreshments are available, but as in previous years, donations to set against the cost of the event will be welcomed.

Parish Councillors are frustrated that on 3 occasions now, gates on the footpath that crosses the lane around 400 metres east of the Village Hall, have been cut off at their hinges and dumped. Apart from the cost of the gates, and installation, it is difficult to see the reasons for this vandalism as there is still a lip (which is part of the frame) to be stepped over to cross the boundary. If anyone can shed any light on who is doing this, and why, then please contact the Parish Council via the website breintonparishcouncil.gov.uk.

The next Parish Council meeting will be on Wednesday 14th November, starting at 7.00pm, in the Village Hall. Among other items, the Councillors will be considering the level of precept for the year 2019/20.
